Take a stroll with Outdoor Chattanooga’s field ornithologist to learn more about the basics of birdwatching.  Bring your binoculars or borrow ours to identify a variety of birds and learn amazing facts about habitat, birding apps and more.  This is a family friendly walk appropriate for all ages.  Dr. David Aborn, an Ornithologist and Assistant Professor of Biology, Geology and Environmental Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will be actively working several banding nets and will discuss the importance of observations and data collection.
Pre-registration is required.
