FAMILY FUN-DAY SUNDAY- Outdoor Adventure at Greenway Farm 

Enjoy an afternoon of activity at Greenway Farm City Park with guided and equipped activities provided by the staff at Outdoor Chattanooga. Between the hours of 1pm and 4 pm, you can choose to rent a canoe, shoot archery, take a nature hike or just bring a picnic and relax in the park.

Check in with Outdoor Chattanooga’s staff at the archery table next to the dog park to get more information or directions to the canoe rentals.

Canoeing: Outdoor Chattanooga will provide all the equipment for you to paddle the creek at your own pace. (tandem canoes, PFD, paddle) Canoes are available from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m at the boat ramp behind the gardens. There is a fee for canoeing $25 per canoe.

Archery: All ages can test their aim at the bullseye targets placed before an arrow resistant net. This program range is located next to the dog park. Outdoor Chattanooga staff will provide the instruction, guidance, and equipment for this activity. This activity is free. No fee.

Nature Hike: Individuals and families can seek adventure in a classic nature hike at the park. Take a leisurely stroll or head to the hills with suggested routes and a map of suggested routes for self guided hiking. Ask for a scavenger hunt list for some extra fun. No fee.

A liability release form will be required for canoeing and archery. Severe weather may cancel or delay this program.
