See the fall colors of the tree canopy by kayak, one of the best ways to enjoy the natural beauty in Chattanooga.   Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a guided and equipped kayak tour down the Tennessee River Gorge, known as the “Grand Canyon” of Tennessee.  The gorge meanders just downstream from the city of Chattanooga. As the river winds through the gorge, it creates the opportunity to view historic, natural and geologic wonders from the unique perspective of a kayak. A special guest from the Natural Resource division with Parks will help us identify more wonders along the way including bald eagles, ospreys, crested kingfishers, cormorants, deer, river otters, and more !

This is a beginner friendly kayak tour appropriate for ages 14 and up.  Instruction and equipment is provided.  This guided tour is about 3.5 hours long and a shuttle will be provided.
