Join Outdoor Chattanooga and the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute for a double adventure. The first half of the morning is a guided kayak tour to bring paddlers closer to the local river environment and concluding at the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute. Instructors from Outdoor Chattanooga will provide instruction and kayaking equipment for our scenic paddle from Baylor School down to Suck Creek. TNACI’s naturalist will accompany the tour providing interpretive information. Following the paddle guests will tour the Conservation Institute to learn more about their freshwater conservation efforts.

Cost: $45 per person – includes guides, equipment, and transportation. Registration and payment is required in advance as space is limited.
Previous kayak experience is helpful, but not necessary to participate. Appropriate for ages 16 and up when accompanied by a participating adult. We utilize Wilderness Systems Tsunami 14′ and 16′ sea touring kayaks, which fit most body types (kayak weight limit is 300lbs).
